About
Welcome to Professionally Incoherent, a blog of one guy’s thoughts about three big topics: film, TV, and Internet culture. Basically, it’s where I write regular posts talking about my favourite types of media, and occasionally get into some pseudo-scholarly analysis.
I’ve always enjoyed talking to friends about these topics, and I wanted to start a blog to spark similar conversations on the Internet. Usually I have no idea what I’m talking about, so feel free to call me out and start an argument.
I apologize in advance if I make your eyes glaze over with some of my wordier, analysis-heavy posts. I have a degree in English lit and a number of film theory courses under my belt, and I have a habit of dissecting stuff.
This is my first attempt at any kind of regular Internet publication, but I have a number of ideas about how to expand this page in the future. I’m always open to suggestions and comments, so let me know what you think! If you like what you find here, you can also follow me on Twitter (@jrobertsnow), for reminders about new posts on Professionally Incoherent and other musings.
Awesome site Robert! You can count me in as a subscriber. Looking forward to keeping up with your blog. Cheers!
Hey man – glad you like it! I’ll be posting daily if possible – feel free to engage with me in the comments if you see a post you’d like to discuss!
